Bottom Line Up Front: Hoplite Group is seeking an experienced Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) SME to support U.S. Government efforts in advancing full-spectrum operational capacity through the development of a CSAR capability for a partner nation’s military force.
Location:Remote support (CONUS) and forward engagements (OCONUS)
Level of Effort:
Non travel months: Approximately 40 hours/month.
Engagement: First in-person partner nation engagement scheduled for 13–17 July 2025 (Approximately 100 hours/month during engagement months).
Post-Engagement: Support as needed.
Availability:Immediate
Objective:Facilitate a Capabilities Based Assessment to support resource requirements determination to assist in establishing a Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) capability using global best practices across the Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) framework. The SME will help define the scope of CSAR capability required, identify material and non-material solutions, and provide a repeatable methodology for future capability resource analysis.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
Retired O-5/O-6 level officer with experience in U.S. military CSAR operations, planning, and policy.
Experience developing CSAR training strategies, doctrine, functional concepts.
Knowledge and experience in CSAR training from basic to senior officer for Army, Navy, Air Force, and Special Operations Forces
Familiarity with NATO CSAR interoperability standards
