At Stoddard Agency | AutoStyle Marketing, we seek a Content Development Specialist to lead content creation efforts that establish our clients as Local Market Authorities.
This is more than a writing job. It’s a chance to own the process of researching, drafting, optimizing, and editing marketing content across channels—with a brilliant mix of human creativity and AI support.
What You’ll Do
- Write with Purpose: Conduct thorough research of the clients and their markets. Craft SEO-optimized blog posts, landing pages, and social content that align with each client’s voice and goals.
- Build Local Authority: Contribute to client success by driving visibility in their geographic and niche markets through targeted content.
- Edit and Elevate: Review all content for structure, grammar, clarity, and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with design, web, SEO, and client account teams to produce aligned, conversion-oriented content.
- Leverage AI Tools: Use Grammarly, ChatGPT, Search Atlas, SmartCrawl, etc. (plus your judgment) to improve quality, scale content production, and spark creative direction. We believe AI is not to be relied on to do the work for you—it just makes you more efficient if used properly.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 1+ year of professional writing experience; SEO and sales copywriting expertise is highly valued.
- Language: Native-level English fluency, exceptional grammar, clarity, and tone adaptability.
- Tech-Comfortable: Familiar with Google Workspace, content management systems, SEO tools, and AI writing assistants.
- Bonus Skills/Experience:
- Understanding marketing funnels, conversion copy, and brand voice consistency.
- Great at researching and interviewing subjects.
- Knowledge of automotive or home services contractors is a plus (the majority of our clients are in these two business verticals)
Working Arrangement
- Location: Remote (must be U.S.-based)
- Type: Open to part-time or full-time. Likely starting part-time before transitioning to full-time.
- Trial Period: All new hires begin with a paid 90-day trial period to ensure mutual fit
- Hourly Pay (U.S. Rates, Based on Experience):
- Entry-Level: Minimum Wage – $20/hour
- Mid-Level: $21 – $25/hour
- Senior-Level: $26 – $35/hour
