Job Title: Senior Collector (Part-Time) – Hospital Billing (HB)

Location: Remote
Position Type: Part-Time (10–20 hours/week)
Compensation: $30.00–$35.00/hour (DOE)

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Collector with 3–5 years of hospital billing (HB) experience to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals currently working in hospital revenue cycle or recently retired professionals who want to stay engaged and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform account follow-up and collection activities on outstanding hospital claims.

• Use Epic to identify, manage, and resolve aged accounts efficiently.

• Communicate professionally with payers to resolve denials and secure payments.

• Document account activity clearly and accurately in Epic.

• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve billing issues.

• Meet weekly productivity and quality goals within the flexible part-time schedule.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of recent hospital billing (HB) experience required.

• Epic experience in a collections/follow-up capacity is essential.

• Strong understanding of payer guidelines, claims follow-up, and denial resolution.

• Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible workload.

• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
