Job Title: Senior Collector (Part-Time) – Hospital Billing (HB)

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Collector with 3–5 years of hospital billing (HB) experience to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals currently working in hospital revenue cycle or recently retired professionals who want to stay engaged and make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform account follow-up and collection activities on outstanding hospital claims.
Use Epic to identify, manage, and resolve aged accounts efficiently.
Communicate professionally with payers to resolve denials and secure payments.
Document account activity clearly and accurately in Epic.
Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve billing issues.
Meet weekly productivity and quality goals within the flexible part-time schedule.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of recent hospital billing (HB) experience required.
Epic experience in a collections/follow-up capacity is essential.
Strong understanding of payer guidelines, claims follow-up, and denial resolution.
Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible workload.
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
