Requirements:

5+ years of experience in backend software development.
Proficiency in the following tech requirements:
- Firebase (Cloud Functions, Firestore, Firebase Auth)
- Node.js
- Cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
- CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Containerization (Docker) and cloud-native architectures (Cloud Run, Kubernetes)

What Youll Do:

Develop and maintain backend services using Firebase Functions, Firestore, and Firebase Auth.
Collaborate closely with the Software Architect to implement a migration plan from Firebase to scalable solutions such as Cloud Run or Kubernetes.
Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and security.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enhance development workflows.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in Node.js.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to backend best practices.

Remuneration:

Compensation in US dollars as contractor.
2-3 months project
