Job Description
As the Operations Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our client’s international growth strategy, leading the charge in establishing and scaling their offshore operations. This pivotal role offers a unique blend of leadership, process improvement, and cross-cultural communication. You’ll be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team of remote professionals, implementing efficient processes, and serving as the critical link between onshore and offshore operations. This position is perfect for a dynamic leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving organizational transformation through innovative remote work strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the development and implementation of robust business processes, workflows, and SOPs across various departments, ensuring seamless integration between onshore and offshore operations
  • Build and lead a high-performing offshore team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge performance metrics and incentive structures to drive productivity and engagement in a remote work environment
  • Collaborate closely with onshore leadership to align offshore operations with overall company goals and strategies
  • Pioneer innovative training and onboarding programs for new offshore team members, leveraging the latest in remote learning technologies
  • Orchestrate the implementation of state-of-the-art task tracking and project management systems to optimize efficiency and transparency
  • Drive the company’s international growth by scaling the offshore team from 1 to 10 staff members over the next 12 months
  • Serve as the primary liaison between onshore and offshore teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives

Requirements
  • Proven track record in managing and scaling remote teams, preferably in the Philippines or similar offshore environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in process implementation, documentation, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to bridge cultural effectively and geographical gaps
  • Experience in the electrical contracting industry or similar project-based businesses is highly desirable
  • Advanced proficiency in cutting-edge project management and task tracking tools
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and motivate remote teams
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align operational processes with broader business objectives
  • Adaptable problem-solver capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
