This is a remote position.

Role Name: Part-Time Bookkeeper

Schedule:

  • 15 hours/week Monday to Friday 12pm to 3pm GMT

  • UK Business Hours

Client Timezone: UK Time Zone (London)


Join a dynamic London-based real estate agency as a remote bookkeeper, where you'll play a crucial role in managing financial operations across multiple accounts. This position offers the opportunity to work with a modern property management firm utilizing specialized software systems, while handling important payment processing for landlords and vendors. You'll be an integral part of streamlining financial operations and ensuring accurate record-keeping for a growing real estate business. This role provides excellent exposure to international business practices and the chance to work with a UK-based team.

Scope:

  • Remote position with direct communication with UK team

  • Access to company's proprietary accounting software

  • Handling financial transactions for multiple bank accounts

  • Two-step payment authorization process involvement

Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile and update multiple bank accounts (main account, client account, and savings account) with proprietary software

  • Process daily landlord payments (ranging from 2-8 transactions per day)

  • Manage and update bookkeeping records on a daily basis

  • Handle invoice processing and payment management

  • Communicate payment confirmations via email

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable as needed

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented

  • Coordinate with the UK-based team on payment authorizations and financial matters


Requirements
:

  • Previous bookkeeping experience, particularly with international clients

  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work UK business hours

  • Experience with multi-account reconciliation

  • Proficiency in learning new software systems

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Experience in payment processing and financial record keeping

  • Professional email communication skills
