Position Description:

Bertram Capital is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team for the summer, supporting the Talent Acquisition function within the firm. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruiting and human resources in a fast-paced, private equity environment. The Talent Acquisition Intern will help identify top talent, improve candidate experience, and support the overall hiring process from start to finish. This role is ideal for a student interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or organizational development.

Location: Remote but must be located in California, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, Illinois, Massachusetts, Florida, New York, or Ohio.

Responsibilities:

Assess candidates and make recommendations for potential fit for an open position.
Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process ensuring a timely, courteous, and professional experience.
Assist with administrative functions such as document creation and collection for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Research and create action plans for future recruitment efforts.
Assist with other projects related to Talent Acquisition.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other HR technology/reporting tools.
Experience with Microsoft suite
Exceptional detail orientation as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
High integrity in working with confidential information

Compensation: The expected compensation for this role is $30 per hour.
