Job Summary

Impiricus is seeking a Data & Analytics Intern for a 12-week paid internship to support our growing Data team. This role is ideal for a student passionate about leveraging data to drive business impact and eager to apply analytical thinking to real-world challenges. The intern will contribute to core analytics functions including campaign performance evaluation, list match analysis, and ad-hoc reporting that supports internal teams and external partners.

As a Data & Analytics Intern, you'll build your spreadsheet-based analytical skills, learn how to extract meaningful insights from large datasets, and refine your ability to tell stories through data. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting data-driven decisions, developing campaign audience strategies, and collaborating across both technical and non-technical teams. This role will enhance your problem-solving abilities, grow your confidence in business communications, and prepare you for a career in data analytics, marketing, or business intelligence.

 

Duties/ Responsibilities: 

  • Support list match validation and performance tracking for marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze campaign metrics and assist in building visual or spreadsheet-based reports.
  • Collaborate with the Client Services and Engineering teams to support data requests and cross-functional projects.
  • Assist in translating data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Participate in the development of scalable templates and processes for routine analytics needs.
  • Contribute to internal documentation to support data-driven decision-making and audience strategy development.

Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or other STEM related field (completed Sophomore year preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail and a curiosity for solving problems
  • Effective communicator with the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools
  • Previous project experience working with campaign or performance data


Additional Details

  • 12-week paid internship with flexible start date.
  • Up to 30 hours per week.
  • $18/hour
  • Mentorship and hands-on experience
