Remote (CST Time Zone)
Salary Range:
up to 1500 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST)

Position Overview:

Were looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Medical Billing Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves supporting patients with billing-related inquiries, resolving disputes, processing payments, and ensuring accurate account updates. The ideal candidate brings excellent communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and familiarity with healthcare billing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls and assist patients with billing questions and payment processing.
  • Resolve billing disputes and escalate complex cases when necessary.
  • Update and maintain accurate patient account information.
  • Provide billing documentation and support materials upon request.
  • Navigate Practice Management (PM) systems and external payment platforms.
  • Deliver empathetic, efficient, and high-quality customer service.


Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or billing support role.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and basic billing tools.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Modernizing Medicine (EMR platform).
  • Previous call center experience in a multi-state healthcare setting.
