Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Los Angeles, California, USA, Pacific Time (with a 30-minute paid break)

Scope:
  • Remote work arrangement
  • Managing books for 6+ business locations
  • Weekly financial close and reporting cycles
  • Direct reporting to business management
  • Coverage of multiple business entities including holding company structure

Responsibilities:
  • Execute weekly bookkeeping and financial close processes for multiple F&B businesses
  • Process and enter data using QuickBooks and Margin Edge software
  • Manage transactions across cafe and bagel chain locations
  • Handle holding company transaction allocations
  • Prepare weekly financial reports following 4-4-5 calendar system
  • Process invoices through Margin Edge
  • Maintain accurate records for multiple business entities
  • Support weekly closing procedures for timely decision-making


Requirements
  • Proficient in QuickBooks
  • Experience with restaurant/F&B accounting preferred
  • Knowledge of weekly closing procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting structures
  • Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines
  • Understanding of holding company transaction allocations
  • English language proficiency
