Job description

This is a remote position.

Are you a soon-to-be computer science graduate seeking real-world professional experience? Passionate about the fast pace of innovation in this field, including cloud computing, cyber security and large scale, distributed systems? Do you enjoy learning in a high-performance environment?

Team Venti interns participate in an accelerated six-month mentorship program that allows them to experience professional life via the assignment of projects that are critical to their team’s and client´s success.

We have an opening for an IT Intern. This is a virtual/remote position to join our growing team in the United States.

What you will be doing

  • Giving IT support to client administrators and end-users, focusing on phone services support and configuration changes. Communication may be through phone, email or chat.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure customer success before and after sales.
  • Working alongside experienced staff and mentors in the delivery of client projects and support.
  • Collaborate with co-workers in the creation of new service products.
  • Provide support to end users.
  • Collaborate with co-workers in the maintenance of our internal infrastructure.
  • Handling ticket requests.

You must be able to work from home, have a quiet workspace, and have a computer and headset in good working order

Working hours: office hours Monday to Friday (8AM-5PM CST).


Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and is expected to graduate within the next 12 months.
  • Has strong English communication skills (spoken & written).
  • Is self-managed, proactive, organized, and technically curious.
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving, teamwork and technical leadership skills.
  • Works effectively in a diverse/global team environment.
  • Has passion for learning and for helping others.
  • Has web development experience.
  • Has technical knowledge related to Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, etc.
