This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 40 paid hours per week

  • Monday-Friday; 9AM to 6PM Baltimore, MD

  • Includes 1 hour unpaid break

Job Description

We're seeking a detail-oriented Personal Assistant to join our dynamic startup environment and play a crucial role in our expansion phase. This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the founder and leadership team, supporting various aspects of business development and operational growth. You'll be instrumental in building our business database, managing stakeholder communications, and supporting investor relations activities. This role provides excellent exposure to the startup ecosystem and the chance to contribute to a platform that makes a meaningful impact in supporting local commerce.

Responsibilities
  • Manage comprehensive database development through systematic data entry and organization

  • Handle professional email communications with business owners and potential stakeholders

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with investors, lenders, and business partners

  • Conduct targeted online research to identify and compile strategic business listings

  • Execute outreach campaigns to potential business partners

  • Maintain organized tracking systems for all business communications and responses

  • Process and organize incoming correspondence efficiently

  • Support daily administrative operations and special projects as needed

Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

  • Strong proficiency in data entry and spreadsheet management

  • Proven experience in professional email correspondence and inbox management

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks

  • Comfortable with various business software and technology tools

  • Professional demeanor suitable for investor and partner communications

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred

  • Background in startup or technology company environment is a plus
