Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, the only provider across all 4 nations, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, while providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our leading research pushes the boundaries of what we know about good end-of-life, and our campaigns fight for a world where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness, they’re likely to die from.
We’re looking for a creative mind and empathetic team manager to join our Mass Fundraising team in managing our cash and appeals function. This team delivers inspiring fundraising campaigns to attract new supporters and build relationships with our existing donors. You’ll also be responsible for overseeing the delivery of one of the UK’s most well-known fundraising appeals: the Great Daffodil Appeal. By overseeing some of our biggest organisational fundraising moments you will be pivotal in the generation of income and support for Marie Curie.
Marie Curie has ambitious plans to double the number of people we can provide direct care and support to over the next five years. As the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our cash giving strategy and leading key fundraising moments, including our annual Christmas appeal and the Great Daffodil Appeal.
Your efforts will help ensure that everyone affected by dying, death, and bereavement has the best possible experience, reflecting what’s important to them. You will manage a team of 6 and oversee the delivery of over £3.5m net income annually, making a significant impact on our fundraising goals.
