This is a remote position.


Schedule: 
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Columbia, Canada (Pacific Time)
Paid hours per week: 20 hours

Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant to join our client’s growing team in the financial services sector. In this role, you will support the marketing efforts to promote the client’s innovative educational savings products, primarily targeting new parents. You will assist in creating and executing marketing campaigns, content creation, social media management, and outreach initiatives to engage and educate potential clients on the benefits of RESPs and other financial planning tools. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your marketing skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the company’s mission of helping families secure their children’s educational futures.



Responsibilities:
  • Conduct competitor research

  • Create basic social media and email content

  • Help manage leads in CRM

  • Draft landing page and website copy

  • Send follow-ups to leads and assist in campaign roll outs

  • Coordinate promotions and marketing events

  • Provide regular reports on marketing activities

  • Take care of posting content, including using Riverside for content creation

  • Manage the landing page, ensuring it stays updated

  • Create a monthly newsletter and schedule email deliveries



Requirements
  • Good communication skills

  • Basic graphic design knowledge (e.g., Canva, Figma, Illustrator)

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite

  • Experience in marketing or support roles preferred

  • Bonus: Experience in copywriting, outbound calling, or content creation
