  • 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Dallas, TX time

Job Description

Take ownership of the complete financial operations for a sophisticated commercial property portfolio in this hybrid AP/AR and Senior Bookkeeper role. You’ll manage both day-to-day transactions and strategic financial processes, working with national retail chains and local businesses while handling complex commercial lease structures including triple net reconciliations. This position offers unique exposure to high-level commercial property management while maintaining the satisfaction of hands-on financial operations. You’ll work remotely through our secure virtual environment, collaborating directly with management and interfacing with a diverse portfolio of commercial tenants.

Responsibilities
  • Process and manage monthly accounts payable volume of 350+ vendor invoices
  • Oversee accounts receivable for 450+ commercial tenants, including payment processing, allocation, and reconciliation
  • Handle sophisticated commercial lease structures including triple net reconciliations and recoverable expense tracking
  • Manage tenant collections process including past due notifications and professional follow-up
  • Process and reconcile various payment methods including ACH, checks, and online portal payments
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
  • Create and maintain financial reporting dashboards for insurance and property tax tracking
  • Generate quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Process payroll and create associated journal entries
  • Manage vendor relationships and handle payment inquiries
  • Oversee tenant charge-backs and refund processes
  • Monitor and resolve payment exceptions and discrepancies
Requirements
  • Proven experience in commercial property management accounting
  • Strong understanding of triple net lease structures and reconciliations
  • Proficiency with property management software systems
  • Experience with virtual desktop interfaces and remote work environments
  • Excellence in professional communication and tenant relations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high transaction volumes
  • Ability to work US Central Time zone hours (9am-5pm CST)
  • Experience in managing confidential financial information
  • Background in commercial lease accounting preferred
  • Professional accounting or bookkeeping certification preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
