Summary:
The Instructional Designer is a contractor role within the Business Learning and Training Department, responsible for designing and delivering multimedia learning solutions tailored to business-specific needs. The role involves working closely with the Critical Skills and Capabilities group to analyze training needs, develop strategic and operational training plans, and implement solutions that accelerate learner effectiveness. Content will focus on emerging topics in the financial markets, such as Generative AI and other innovations in the financial sector. Experience in creating training solutions related to finance and emerging technologies is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute multifaceted training programs: Lead the design, development, and implementation of large-scale training initiatives and visual campaigns with high organizational visibility, demonstrating an ability to develop business knowledge and align content with company objectives.
End-to-end program management: Administer training programs and projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgetary constraints.
Curriculum design and development: Lead the creation of innovative learning solutions, using best practices in instructional design and adult learning principles, focusing on emerging financial topics like Generative AI, and addressing both operational and strategic learning needs.
Strategic input for curriculum direction: Provide input on the design and delivery of learning content, ensuring alignment of learning objectives, visualizations, and methods with the target audience.
Continuous improvement: Ensure high-quality training content through regular evaluations, feedback loops, and implementing improvements based on industry trends and learner performance.
Lead production of multimedia learning assets: Produce a variety of synchronous and asynchronous learning solutions, including animated instructional videos, on-demand e-learning, virtual/in-person instructor-led training, job aids, and interactive playbooks.
Create engaging graphics and animations: Develop creative visuals that simplify complex topics, reinforce organizational values, and present cutting-edge industry topics with a fresh perspective.
