Job Summary
The Sourcing Analyst is responsible for conducting many of the administrative functions of our Sourcing team. They will assist in the efficient sourcing of goods and services while playing a key role in helping us transform Wellsense Sourcing into the world-class sourcing organization we envision.

Key Functions/Responsibilities
Conducting market research and supplier identification. Assist sourcing team in finding high-performing suppliers that can help Wellsense internal partners deliver objectives successfully.
Supplier evaluation and selection. Cross-match supplier capability with business need and assist in scoring of suppliers.
Contract summary creation. Identify key components of contracts and create simplified summaries for internal stakeholders.
Assisting in maintenance of the Wellsense contract platform. Upload, edit and manage contracts via the Wellsense internal sourcing platform.
Sourcing pipeline creation. Identify upcoming contracting/sourcing opportunities based on existing contractual expiration dates.
Sourcing request intake process. Assist sourcing in reviewing supplier needs with internal business managers and collecting/managing related questions/data.
Assisting in Supplier Diversity efforts. Work to identify potential diverse supplier partners for upcoming sourcing/contracting opportunities.
Help track cost savings and risk reduction. Assist in the creation and management of sourcing tools and processes that track cost savings and avoidance as well as risk reduction.
Actively identify problems, areas for continuous improvement, or needed changes to eliminate inefficient or ineffective use of resources, and recommends solutions

Qualifications
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required.
Experience Required
2+ years’ experience as a sourcing or contracting professional
Required Licensure, Certification Or Conditions Of Employment
Successful completion of pre-employment background check
Competencies, Skills, And Attributes
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to apply critical thinking to complex situations, solve work-related problems and make decisions in a fast-pace environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with all levels both inside and outside the organization.
Advanced knowledge and experience of strategic sourcing processes and methodologies.
Working Conditions And Physical Effort
