Internship Overview
We are looking for interns to join us for our 2025 Summer Internship Program! This 12-week program is set to begin June 2nd, so if you are looking for an incredible opportunity to partner with the best and brightest minds in the industry, apply today. This program has been designed with our interns in mind and includes structured learning plans, a dedicated buddy, and a focused capstone project that you will have the opportunity to present in our Internship Showcase! 
 
What It’s Like Interning with Us!
Social Events— just because the internship is remote, doesn’t mean we don’t have time for fun! Recognizing the international nature of the program, we prioritize fostering global connection and networking opportunities among all the interns who participate. In the past, we have hosted remote events such as tie-dye shirt event, tiny camp fire—complete with smores(!!!), a murder mystery party, and so much more 
Time with Executives— Interns all get a chance to connect with our executive team through panel discussions, 1:1s, Q&A meetings, and events
Workshops & Leader Connects — Interns all participate in Leader Connects where they get to learn more about Leaders in HCLSoftware, as well as workshops geared towards new professionals
Opportunity to travel – we will be hosting a hybrid orientation! For those that are interested in being in person for orientation, we will fly you to your closest resident office. 

Position Overview
The Engineering Intern will be a part of a fast-paced and highly motivated engineering team responsible for the architecture and implementation of our high-performance Data Platform. You will work as part of a cross-functional agile team to help enhance the microservices and infrastructure deployed in the platform.  This is a fully containerized based environment deployed across multiple cloud service providers.
 
Capstone Overview
You will research and implement a method for monitoring workload within the platform and scale the service resources in response. This will help optimize resource allocation across the platform ensuring responsiveness during times of heavy load and cost savings during quiet times.

Responsibilities:
  • Understanding high level architecture of data platform and how to deploy services
  • Evaluate how existing technologies can be used to monitor load in the system
  • Develop code and relevant unit tests to implement load monitoring
  • Create prototypes and deploy them to test environment for evaluation

  • Nice to have:
  • On a Computer Science or similar degree program.
  • Javascript and/or Typescript knowledge
  • Containerization or Kubernetes experience
  • Familiar with one or more cloud service providers e.g AWS or GCP

  • Requirements:
  • Must be actively enrolled in a college degree program
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the Country of Employment
