AEM is looking for a highly motivated Digital Marketing Intern in the summer of 2025 to support our growing demand generation efforts. Digital marketing is key to building brand awareness, driving website traffic, and generating leads. Our digital marketing strategy includes SEO and paid media, but success depends on ongoing optimization, content updates, and performance tracking. As our priorities expand, this internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to real marketing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.


This is an exciting opportunity to assist the Director of Demand Generation and the larger Marketing team to gain hands-on experience analyzing and implementing SEO updates, keyword research, paid media campaign monitoring, data analysis, and more. Your contributions will guide decision-making and influence digital marketing resource planning and strategy. 


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in SEO optimization, including keyword research, backlink building, on-page updates, and technical SEO recommendations.
  • Support paid media campaigns by monitoring performance, adjusting bids, and testing and optimizing creative.
  • Conduct a comprehensive competitive analysis to identify opportunities for improved rankings and ad performance.
  • Explore and test new search tactics, including structured data schema and LLM generative search optimization.
  • Identify and solicit paid and unpaid influencers to create SEO-centric content
  • Generate reports and insights to help refine strategy and improve ROI.
  • Gain hands-on experience while contributing valuable work to the marketing team.
  • Present SEO and paid media optimizations to leadership.

Requirements

  

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, graduating in 2025 or 2026.
  • Excellent analytical skills and digital marketing foundational knowledge. Direct experience with digital marketing principles and execution (SEO, Paid Media) a plus
  • Understanding of Marketing Analytics, paid media, and website tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate impact and work cross-functionally across different teams 
  • An eagerness to learn through hands-on experience and collaborative projects 
  • A resourceful self-starter able to work independently, supported by the guidance and direction of the Director of Demand      Generation

Additional Information

  • This is a remote opportunity that can be done from anywhere in the continental United States 
  • Full-time, paid summer 2025 internship 
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. or Canada without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.

This position is not eligible for benefits. 


US Compensation Range: A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $16.50 - $20.00 per hour. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. AEM considers a wide range of factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education, licensure and certifications, key skills as well as other market and business considerations when extending an offer. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
