• Voice Talent Coordination: Collaborate with voice talent professionals to cast appropriate narrators for scientific audio book projects, ensuring their voices align with the content and target audience.
  
• Script Development: Assist in developing scripts for audio book recordings, including adapting written scientific content into conversational and engaging language suitable for audio format.
  
• Recording and Editing: Oversee the recording sessions, ensuring high-quality audio recordings and conducting post-production editing for a polished final product.
  
• Sound Design: Enhance the audio book experience by incorporating sound effects, music, and other elements to create a captivating and immersive listening experience.
  
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure accurate pronunciation of scientific terms, adherence to project guidelines, and overall audio book production standards.
  
• Project Management: Coordinate production schedules, timelines, and resources to ensure timely delivery of audio book projects.
  
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with authors, researchers, and voice talent, maintaining effective communication throughout the production process.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline (Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, etc.) or a related field.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt scientific content into engaging and accessible audio book formats.
  
• Familiarity with scientific research methodologies, terminology, and publication practices to ensure accurate representation of scientific concepts.
  
• Creativity and storytelling skills to transform written scientific content into compelling audio narratives.
  
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to conduct thorough quality checks and ensure the highest production standards.
  
• Technical proficiency in audio recording and editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Audacity, Adobe Audition, etc.) and sound design techniques.
  
• Project management skills to effectively coordinate production schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  
• Collaboration and teamwork abilities to work effectively with authors, researchers, and voice talent professionals.
  
• Passion for audio production, storytelling, and the dissemination of scientific knowledge.
  
• Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in audio book production and the ability to explore innovative approaches.
