We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the end-to-end implementation of the Solution Governance Workstream for key customer engagements. In this role, you will:
- Understand the current state of the Solution Governance Process
- Define future state process, tool, and technologies
- Guide and drive implementation of future state
- Enable and train the Architecture Community to ensure successful adoption of re-designed Solution Governance Tools and Process.
Additionally, you will collaborate with other EAM workstreams like Application Portfolio Management, Application Rationalization and Technology Risk and Compliance, providing guidance and advice.
What you will do:
Analyze and document the existing Solution Governance processes, tools, and technologies to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
Design and develop the future-state Solution Governance framework, incorporating best practices, industry standards, and modern tools to align with enterprise objectives.
Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and integrations to support the future-state Solution Governance processes.
Lead the end-to-end implementation of the redesigned governance processes and tools, ensuring alignment with business and IT requirements.
Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and project stakeholders to ensure the new processes and tools meet organizational needs.
Establish policies, guidelines, and standards for solution design, evaluation, and approval processes.
Create and deliver training programs, workshops, and resources to build competency within the Architecture Community in using new governance tools and processes.
Track the adoption of the redesigned Solution Governance processes and tools, gathering feedback to continuously improve effectiveness.
Oversee governance review boards to evaluate solution designs, ensuring compliance with the new framework.
Collaborate with Application Portfolio Management, Application Rationalization, and Technology Risk and Compliance workstreams to ensure integration and alignment of Solution Governance processes and tools.
Qualifications and skills:
15+ years of experience in Enterprise or Solution Architecture, with 5+ years focused on governance frameworks and processes.
Proven track record of designing and implementing Solution Governance frameworks in large, complex IT environments.
TOGAF Certification (or equivalent) preferred.
Expertise in EAM tools like ServiceNow APM LeanIX, BiZZdesign, or Sparx EA.
Deep knowledge of Business, Application, Data, and Infrastructure architecture domains and their interdependencies.
Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT to align governance processes with organizational objectives.
Experience leading architecture review boards and managing exceptions while maintaining alignment with governance principles.
Proven ability to train and mentor architecture teams, delivering workshops and creating self-service resources.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess architectures and recommend improvements.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts and influencing diverse audiences.
Educations and certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, IT, or related field.
