Job Title: Recruiting/HR Coordinator Trainee
Work Location: Remote, Local candidates only (Milpitas, San Francisco Bay area, Silicon Valley, Santa Clara,  San Jose, etc.)

FocusKPI, Inc. is looking for a Recruiting/HR Coordinator Intern to work to support our recruiting/ staffing business.

This program provides hands-on experience with real-world HR and recruiting support on a day-to-day basis and contributing to the development of HR and recruiting functions in a phase of organizational growth and development. 
Exceptional performance during the program may lead to a paid internship opportunity, setting the stage for a promising career in Recruiting/ HR.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify candidates, and pipelining quality candidates
  • Post positions on various job boards as required
  • Coach candidates on best practice interviewing
  • Negotiate offers and closing
  • Track requisitions and candidates, including metrics and reporting
  • Provide guidance and answering questions related to processes and contacts for temporary hiring
  • Build strategic sourcing pipelines with key individuals, both internal and external to the company, with significant social networks and insightful recommendations for top talent
  • Expand our referral efforts, attend related events and generate sourcing campaigns
  • Enter data into the database or HR system for maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain HR department records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Communicates with employees about their personnel documentation and answers specific HR questions of employees.
  • Help with new hire onboarding, which includes issuing the offer letter, triggering the background check, and all onboarding procedures.

Required Experience:

  • 1-2 years recruiting for data scientist, data analyst, data engineers, etc.
  • Bachelor degree, technical background are plus
  • Proven ability to attract top talent using non-traditional recruitment methods
  • Ability to build relationships with candidates, clients and employees
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and be highly proactive
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Bilingual Mandarin-speaking is a plus
  • Worked in the high tech industry, a plus
