Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: 40 hours per day, Monday to Friday: 9AM - 6PM CST with 1hr unpaid hour

Objective for the role 
To integrate an offshore Product Operations specialist based in the Philippines into the product team, starting with one individual supporting the Scaling Pillar and scaling to other pillars based on performance and operational fit. This plan aims to enhance efficiency, provide operational
support, and ensure scalability as Product Managers take responsibility for managing engineering squads of more than 10 engineers.
Product Operations specialists will report to the product leads of Headspace pillars.

Tasks and responsibilities:
1. Information Sharing and Organization:
○ Track and publish progress against OKRs for major projects.
○ Organize and maintain a repository of key product documents (e.g., Google Docs, Figma files) and publish regular updates in Slack to enhance visibility across Product Pillars and squads.

2. Release Support:
○ Maintain a centralized product release calendar, documenting upcoming releases and key milestones.

3. Support Product Testing and Dogfooding:
○ Act as the first line of triage for bugs assigned to the squad, identifying those requiring product attention versus technical resolution, and assigning them accordingly.
○ Collaborate with PMs and engineering teams to prepare for internal testing prior to releases.

4. Roadmap Management:
○ Drive the quarterly planning process established by PM leaders, ensuring draft initiatives and stakeholder reviews meet deadlines.
○ Keep project statuses updated in ProdPad until Jira integration is completed.
○ Publish pillar-wide stakeholder updates on a regular cadence, including highlights, risks, and impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Business Ad, Computer Science or any related course
  • strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • 2+ years experience in product operations, product management, and product research 
  • Familiarity with the specific industry (eg. consumer goods, healthcare) as it helps in understanding the product and customer needs.
