Salary Range:
up to 3000 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (EST)

About the Company:

Sagan represents a well-established tree service company that has undergone a major digital transformation over the past two years. Originally a paper-based operation, the company has transitioned to modern digital tools and now seeks to build a centralized data system that integrates customer history, sales insights, and operational workflows.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Database Architect to design and implement a single source of truth for customer data. This role involves integrating multiple data sources (Excel, Jobber, OpenPhone, Hatch, QuickBooks Online) into a streamlined system that enables efficient customer outreach and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and clean existing customer data (250K+ rows) from multiple platforms.
  • Build a centralized data warehouse or CRM-like system to store, update, and analyze customer information.
  • Automate data updates to ensure real-time integration with Jobber, OpenPhone, Hatch, and other tools.
  • Create dashboards and reporting tools to help identify high-value customer segments (e.g., customers with specific tree types for targeted outreach).
  • Enable sales and marketing teams by generating customer lists based on service history, tree types, and engagement patterns.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security throughout the process.


Qualifications:

  • Strong data analysis and database management skills.
  • Experience with data integration across multiple tools (Excel, CRM, VoIP systems, accounting software).
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to automate workflows and set up data pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with CRM setup and integration.
  • Familiarity with Jobber, OpenPhone, Hatch, QuickBooks Online.
  • Background in sales operations or customer segmentation analytics.
