Construction Senior Accountant

Go Team is looking for a Construction Senior Accountant with experience in the construction industry to join our finance team. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing job costing, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and ensuring tax compliance. The ideal candidate will collaborate with project managers, assist with audits, and mentor junior accounting staff.

Work Setup and Schedule:

• Night Shift in PH Time

In this position, you will be:

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage job costing processes, including tracking labor, materials, and overhead costs.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Develop and analyze budgets and financial forecasts for construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary tax filings.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Assist in audit preparations by organizing and providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
