Salary: PHP 50,000-79,000


The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost electrical estimates and project proposals for construction, engineering, or other related projects. This role involves analyzing project requirements, evaluating labor, materials, and other resources, and ensuring competitive pricing to support the company’s profitability and client satisfaction.


About the Job


Key Duties:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates by reviewing project plans, specifications, and other documentation.
  • Identify and calculate labor, material, and time requirements for each project.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
  • Prepare comprehensive project bids, including cost breakdowns and supporting documents.
  • Ensure proposals meet client requirements and deadlines.
  • Assist in negotiations with clients to secure contracts.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to clarify project requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of costs, suppliers, and project records.
  • Prepare and present cost analysis and project feasibility reports to management.
  • Monitor project costs post-award to ensure alignment with the initial estimate.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, material prices, and construction methodologies.
  • Analyze historical data to improve future estimating accuracy.


Skills and Experience


Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical estimation or a related role in Australian construction or engineering industries.
  • Experience using Simpro and Groundplan.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other relevant applications.
  • Familiarity with Electrical standards, methods, and materials.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
