Program Overview
About The Role
Peraton is seeking an experienced Director, Technology Program Management to lead the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Traveler Processing and Vetting Services (TPVS) contract. This high-impact role will oversee all financial, technical, administrative, contractual, and personnel aspects of the program, serving as the primary interface with CBP executives.
As the Director, you will manage resources, drive program success, and ensure the on-time delivery of high-quality services. The TPVS program focuses on CBP traveler vetting through agile software development in a hybrid cloud environment. If you have a proven track record in large-scale programs supporting DHS/CBP missions with expertise in SecDevOps, customer experience (CX), and scaled agile, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for CBP TPVS leadership, maintaining a strong and collaborative relationship.
Lead all financial, technical, administrative, and personnel activities, including monthly Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
Provide technical and financial progress reports to contractor and customer leadership, participating in key meetings and presentations.
Oversee cross-project planning, resource allocation, scheduling milestones, and on-time submission of deliverables.
Identify, assess, and resolve complex business issues, facilitating resolution and risk mitigation.
Ensure compliance with personnel security clearance requirements and manage performance assessments aligned with TPVS objectives.
Foster collaborative partnerships with CBP, TPVS customers, and contractor teams to enhance program success.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
16+ years of IT and program management experience.
10+ years of experience managing enterprise-level software development programs of similar scope and complexity.
Proven experience leading teams of IT professionals in a large enterprise environment.
Demonstrated ability to interface with senior customer leadership effectively.
Certifications: PMI PMP AND ITIL4 Managing Professional.
Eligibility: U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Established relationships with CBP PSPD leadership.
Extensive experience working within the CBP environment.
Relevant Agile software development certifications.
Active CBP BI or Top Secret clearance.

Details
Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
