Project Manager | Fully REMOTE

The Project Manager will lead company construction, engineering and/or performance contracting projects according to contract documents. My client has commercial projects in the pipeline and offer a fast track towards growth!

This Minneapolis based construction company is a leading General Contractor. They are a leader in the MN market with many excellent clients and a steady pipeline of commercial projects. This company is looking to add a Project Manager to its rapidly growing team to work on a large upcoming industrial pipeline.

Description

• Provide leadership and direction on commercial, industrial, education, and K-12 construction projects
• Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site and corporate staff to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget
• Work with the Project team to develop a work plan, establish priorities and assign tasks
• Coordinate the preparation of the schedule and long term planning
• Implement, monitor, update and communicate the progress schedule and its periodic revisions
• Manage financial aspects of contracts: review and approve budgets, cost reports, rental equipment and expenses
• Perform the final review of internal items such as Cost Analysis, Monthly Billing, Master Cost Breakdown and Monthly Reports
• Manage subcontractor schedules, quality of work, coordination with other trades and payments
• Create and maintain a safe/secure job site environment
• Review and approve drawings and samples prior to submittal
• Train and develop the Project team and schedule project resources

Profile

• 5+ years of construction experience
• Strong background in Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, or Education Construction
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The desire to grow their career professionally
• Strong track record with client relationships
