Salvo Software is seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead and manage communication, product delivery, and team coordination for our automotive-embedded software development teams. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership and organizational skills, thriving in a fast-paced, Agile-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination: Plan, execute, and oversee the delivery of embedded software projects across global teams in the US, Mexico, and India.
Team Communication: Act as the primary communication bridge between distributed teams, ensuring clear alignment on objectives and deliverables.
Technical Guidance: Leverage your understanding of embedded systems, communication protocols, and automotive diagnostics to provide leadership and support to technical teams.
Agile Practices: Facilitate Agile processes such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to maintain project momentum and adaptability.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and external partners to gather requirements, define priorities, and align project goals.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Performance Tracking: Monitor project milestones, timelines, and outcomes, delivering regular status reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
7+ years of technical product owner experience, preferably in automotive or embedded systems development.
Strong knowledge of embedded software development and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Familiarity with automotive diagnostics standards, such as CAN, OBD-II, and UDS.
Demonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage multicultural, geographically dispersed teams.
Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or SAFe are a plus.
