About Us
The new Enterprise Onboarding team will work on a brand new highly visible company initiative: The “Enterprise Onboarding & Admin Experience” which improves the time to onboard metric for dbt cloud enterprise customers - a leading indicator for customer retention and expansion.
In this role, you will be building delightful admin experiences that are easily configurable with good, secure defaults; reducing onboarding time for enterprise customers - building off the platform work done by your peer engineering teams.
The primary goal of this team is to speed up adoption of dbt Cloud by our enterprise customers - making it easy to operationalize setup through the lens of the customer’s dbtCloud administrator and security admin. Some projects include, but not limited to revamping the admin dashboard and notifications; audit log UI and streaming to other SIEMs and webhooks.
You will work across the stack (front-end and backend) pushing the team’s metrics mentioned above. You will work alongside product manager, UX and 3 other engineers on the team.
You are a good fit if you:
- Have strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming.
- Have worked across the stack (We use Python, Go, React and Typescript).
- Have designed and built API-driven applications consuming REST and/or gRPC and OAuth for API endpoints.
- Are able to balance speed of delivery with designing scalable, reusable components.
- Are passionate about design and code reviews that help grow the team.
- Are highly motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Are ready to go outside of the team’s realm when there are infrastructure-related dependencies and collaborate with other teams to aid the delivery of team features.
- Ensure high programming standards by writing unit, functional, and integration tests.
- Have a systematic problem-solving approach coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
You'll have an edge if you:
- Worked asynchronously as part of a fully remote, international, distributed team
- Have experience using Python to create scalable full-stack applications (e.g., building services for applications with complex workflows)
- Enjoy collaborating closely with product management partners and designers
- Value interacting with admins and end-users and deeply understanding their needs
- Can make informed trade-offs to ship useful features promptly without compromising long-term quality
- Love backend work but have frontend experience and can reason about end-to-end systems
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: 84,000 - 105,000 Euro per year
