Position Overview:

Black Dragon Capital seeks a proactive, efficient, and resourceful Recruiter, with private equity and venture capital sector experience to join the firm’s Human Recourses team. This person will play a key role in our overall recruiting process as part of an inclusive, dynamic, and engaging team. We are looking for a successful recruiter who will collaborate with Human Resources, the hiring manager and the Executive Leadership team on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. To be considered an ideal candidate for this role, you need to have an excellent understanding of hiring across a variety of skill sets, efficient interviewing capabilities and decision-making skills, and great organization and verbal skills. Must be able to thrive in a fast moving and changing environment.

As a UI/UX Developer / Graphic Designer, you will create user-centered, visually appealing, and responsive interfaces while utilizing advanced design and development techniques. You will contribute to both the design and the technical implementation of web, mobile, and digital media projects. Additionally, you will be leveraging Visual Effects (VFX)/3D designs to elevate user engagement and bring complex concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Design:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to conceptualize and create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Design high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and detailed interaction flows for web and mobile applications.
• Use Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD for designing dynamic interfaces with clear user journeys and responsive layouts.
• Conduct user research, analyze data from user testing, and iterate designs to solve user pain points.
• Incorporate motion design and micro-interactions to enhance user experience (UX).
  
  

Graphic Design

• Develop visually compelling graphics, including icons, illustrations, web assets, branding, and promotional material using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Design interactive UI elements that are visually consistent and on-brand.
• Create social media assets, marketing banners, and digital ads using the latest design trends.
  
  

VFX (Visual Effects)

• Integrate cutting-edge motion graphics and visual effects (VFX) into digital interfaces to make user interactions more engaging.
• Use After Effects, blender, and other VFX tools to create stunning animations and transitions.
• Enhance interactive elements like loading screens, buttons, and hover effects with smooth animations that elevate user experience.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate VFX seamlessly into websites and apps, ensuring smooth performance across devices.
  
  

Front-End Development

• Translate design concepts into clean, efficient, and responsive code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Vue.js, Wordpress, and Angular.
• Optimize assets for fast loading times without sacrificing quality, particularly in rich media such as videos, animations, and interactive elements.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure smooth integration and functionality of UI/UX components.
  
  

Collaboration & Communication

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical and business requirements.
• Present design and development ideas to stakeholders, gathering feedback to refine solutions.
• Maintain consistency across design systems and components.
  
  

Technology Exploration

• Stay updated with the latest design tools, front-end development technologies, and VFX trends.
• Research emerging technologies and design patterns, integrating them into the product development process.
• Implement WebGL, Three.js, or Canvas for interactive visualizations and 3D graphics.
  
  

SEO Optimization

• Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies using AI tools for keyword research, content optimization, link-building, and data-driven insights to maximize organic search visibility.
• Analyze and improve the technical aspects of websites, including page speed, mobile responsiveness, URL structure, and metadata optimization, using AI-driven audits and tools.
• Optimize content with semantic search in mind, leveraging AI-powered solutions to enhance keyword relevance and context for both search engines and users.
  
  

AEO Strategies

• Optimize content for voice search, structured data, and featured snippets to enhance rankings on platforms like Google’s Answer Engine and other AI-powered assistants.
• Implement natural language processing (NLP) technologies and AI-based strategies to ensure content is optimized for the most common queries and user intent.
• Build structured data (schema) and leverage AI algorithms to improve content ranking in AI-centric search systems such as Google’s BERT, RankBrain, or future AI-powered algorithms.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in UI/UX design, graphic design, and front-end development with a strong portfolio demonstrating interactive and visual design work.
• Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and InVision.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Proficiency in motion graphics and VFX using Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, and other 3D design tools.
• Experience with WebGL, Three.js, and other 3D animation libraries for interactive web visuals.
• Knowledge of responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git or GitHub) for collaboration and project management.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks like Bootstrap, Material UI, or Tailwind CSS is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to implement accessible design and development.
• Knowledge of user research techniques, usability testing, and analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Google Analytics).
  
  

Preferred

• Experience in creating 3D assets or Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) content.
• Familiarity with WebAssembly, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), or server-side rendering (SSR).
• Experience with motion capture or interactive 3D content creation.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
• A passion for interactive storytelling, or cutting-edge digital media.
