Job Overview

 

The Master Data Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and governance within Aerospace, Defense & Marine (AD&M). This role will support a centralized master data management function, working closely with the Supply Chain Central Team and directly engaging with plants and distribution centers (DCs) to clean up and maintain high-quality master data.


The analyst will ensure that master data supports efficient supply chain operations and aligns with master data standards. Regular weekly meetings with the Supply Chain Central Team will help align priorities, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

 

Master Data Governance & Standardization

 

  • Support the professionalization of master data (MD) management within the AD&M sector
  • Maintain and enforce robust data governance rules to ensure consistency across all plants and DCs
  • Work with stakeholders to implement standardized master data processes across global locations

 

Data Quality & Health Enhancement

 

  • Conduct data cleansing, validation, and enrichment to ensure accuracy
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies, variances, and missing data to improve operational efficiency
  • Monitor data health and work with plants to ensure compliance

 

Supply Chain & Operations Support

 

  • Act as a centralized team member, supporting plants and DCs in maintaining reliable master data
  • Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure master data enables smooth operations
  • Address data-related issues impacting supply chain execution and inventory management
  • Leverage KPIs and dashboards to track data quality trends and drive improvement initiatives

 

Collaboration, Coordination & Process Documentation

 

  • Participate in weekly alignment meetings with the Supply Chain Central Team to set priorities and resolve concerns
  • Serve as a key contact ensuring data alignment with business objectives
  • Document best practices, policies, and procedures for master data management within AD&M
  • Maintain Supplier Compliance Contacts in TE System
     
Job Requirements

 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in master data management, data analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP Preferred).
  • Proficiency in Excel, (Power BI and Tableau preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
