Job Description

We work with life insurers to provide a people-centric holistic approach to support everyone in achieving their unique goals and aspirations following an injury or illness.

Due to an expansion of our services, we are looking for a new staff member to assist with providing tailored services that support an optimal return to work and everyday life.  

Services you may provide will include holistic return to work support programs , community reintegration programs, capacity uplifting and work readiness.

Your clinical and case management experience will assist to facilitate decision making, co-ordination of service delivery and achievement of client centered goals.

Your duties will include:

  • Proactively managing a caseload of life insurance rehabilitation clients - caseloads normally range between 18-25 
  • Playing an active role in the life insurance sector, building your personal brand, participating in customer meetings
  • Conducting both desktop-based and interview-based assessments, tailoring your approach to the unique needs of each referral.
  • Applying your knowledge to problem-solve complex cases and provide well-reasoned, evidence-based decisions.
  • Writing comprehensive reports that clearly justify your conclusions, highlighting the most relevant findings.
  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to contribute to holistic, client-focused outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Proactive and creative rehabilitation consultant with 2+ years industry experience, including life insurance
  • Allied health qualified (Rehabilitation Counsellor/Social worker/Psychologist) and registered with experience working across both mental and physical health
  • You enjoy making a difference through achieving outstanding work and health outcomes
  • A comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation in Life Insurance is essential
