Your tasks as a Manufacturing Engineer (all genders) include:

  • Technical support for the introduction of new products in the assigned area (New Product Introduction Process)
  • You will be responsible for developing prototypes alongside R&D and other key stakeholders
  • Testing & validation of optical components, production equipment, processes and technical changes
  • Collaboration on maintenance and the design of production systems and equipment
  • Monitoring and maintaining production data to identify, analyze and resolve technical problems using statistical methods
  • Analyzing and eliminating quality problems
  • Technical documentation in German & English
  • Involvement in engineering initiatives to streamline existing processes or upgrade technical solutions


Your qualification:

  • Very good university or university of applied sciences degree in physics, optics or physical engineering or several years of professional experience in assembly production or engineering as a technical expert
  • Very good optical/crystal knowledge required
  • Very good knowledge of optical, mechanical and electronic measurement technology required
  • Good knowledge of mechanics and design
  • Fluent in both German and English
  • Strong team player with a high level of quality awareness
  • Analytical thinker with a focus on customer needs
  • Self-driven and solution-oriented approach to work
