Your tasks as a Manufacturing Engineer (all genders) include:

Technical support for the introduction of new products in the assigned area (New Product Introduction Process)
You will be responsible for developing prototypes alongside R&D and other key stakeholders
Testing & validation of optical components, production equipment, processes and technical changes
Collaboration on maintenance and the design of production systems and equipment
Monitoring and maintaining production data to identify, analyze and resolve technical problems using statistical methods
Analyzing and eliminating quality problems
Technical documentation in German & English
Involvement in engineering initiatives to streamline existing processes or upgrade technical solutions

Your qualification:

Very good university or university of applied sciences degree in physics, optics or physical engineering or several years of professional experience in assembly production or engineering as a technical expert
Very good optical/crystal knowledge required
Very good knowledge of optical, mechanical and electronic measurement technology required
Good knowledge of mechanics and design
Fluent in both German and English
Strong team player with a high level of quality awareness
Analytical thinker with a focus on customer needs
Self-driven and solution-oriented approach to work
