The Intern for Business Planning & Reporting role supports the development of a scalable forecasting processes, participates in reporting initiatives to deliver actionable insights, and analyzes results to identify trends and key metrics. This position offers the opportunity to develop skills in forecasting, data analytics, and business reporting while contributing to impactful projects in a dynamic environment.
Interns will start full time summer 2025 and reduce to part time (max 20 hours / week) through the school year. We are open to discussing part time work for all 12 months.
This position is hybrid. Most work will be remote, but must be located in Minneapolis for in-person meetings.
Responsibilities

Forecast Reporting: Collaborate with business teams to create an effective forecasting process tailored to the needs of a global customer. Ensuring the forecasting process is accurate, scalable and aligned with business objectives. Document processes and identify potential risks and opportunities in the forecast assumptions.
Reporting Projects: Participate in reporting initiatives that deliver accurate, timely and actionable insights to business teams. Support the design and implementation of reporting tools and dashboards that enhance decision-making.
Monthly Results Analysis: Partner in creating mechanisms that allow for effective analytics of current month results to identify trends, variances and key performance indicators that can be incorporated into leadership dashboards and/or discussions.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications with a high degree of knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn new systems: SAP, Hyperion and BI reporting systems.
Self-motivated individual with exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
