We are looking for a results-driven Affiliate Marketing and Paid Media Specialist to take the lead in optimizing our affiliate program and managing paid media campaigns. This pivotal role is essential in driving brand awareness, revenue growth, and customer acquisition through the strategic recruitment, management, and optimization of affiliate partnerships, alongside the execution of high-impact paid media initiatives.

You’ll blend data-driven decision-making with innovative strategies to establish a world-class affiliate and paid media program. This role requires a balance of strategic vision, hands-on execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success. Experience in SaaS is critical, and familiarity with the healthcare industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Affiliate Program Management

  • Design and execute affiliate marketing programs that align with the company’s growth and revenue objectives.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with existing affiliates, ensuring ongoing engagement and performance optimization.
  • Recruit, vet, and onboard new affiliates through platforms such as FirstPromoter, ShareASale, and other tools.
  • Create and manage onboarding playbooks, tutorials, and welcome campaigns for new affiliates.
  • Monitor affiliate activity, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and brand standards.

Paid Media Campaigns

  • Identify and secure paid media opportunities with relevant publishers, including ad placements on websites, newsletters, and other digital channels.
  • Plan, execute, and manage paid media campaigns to ensure a positive ROI.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns to achieve performance goals.
  • Collaborate with affiliates and publishers to develop high-impact campaigns.

Affiliate Recruitment and Growth

  • Identify and source potential affiliates using tools like SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Google Keyword Planner to analyze content creators and ranking trends.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify high-performing affiliates in similar programs.
  • Implement outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, or other platforms to recruit high-quality affiliates.
  • Build and maintain a database of prospects with clear qualification criteria for affiliate approvals.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization

  • Track and evaluate affiliate and paid media performance daily or weekly through key metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, cancellations, and ROI.
  • Investigate anomalies in traffic, conversions, and sales, using tools like Google Analytics and FirstPromoter dashboards.
  • Identify top-performing affiliates, analyze their strategies, and replicate successful approaches across the program.
  • Develop a performance dashboard using tools like Google Data Studio for real-time insights.
  • Partner with Customer Success (CS) teams to gather and leverage customer feedback for affiliate content optimization.

Content and Compliance Review

  • Regularly audit affiliate content (blogs, reviews, and other materials) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with the brand.
  • Manually review affiliate links and flag negative or non-compliant reviews to the CS team for resolution.
  • Use tools like BuzzSumo or Google Alerts to monitor affiliate mentions and identify new content opportunities.
  • Collaborate with affiliates to improve content and SEO strategies that drive better rankings and conversions.

Fraud Prevention and Order Validation

  • Monitor affiliate orders for potential fraud and validate all transactions using Chargebee and affiliate platforms.
  • Review daily and 30-day order reports to identify cancellations, rejecting commissions accordingly.
  • Maintain compliance standards by automating fraud detection and implementing review workflows.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a unified brand message and leverage promotional opportunities.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to share performance updates, identify challenges, and strategize solutions.
  • Support SEO outreach efforts by building affiliate partnerships that enhance link-building and organic visibility.

Reporting and Budgeting

  • Prepare and present monthly performance reports, tracking KPIs such as new affiliates recruited, new revenue ARR, recurring revenue, costs, and ROI.
  • Finalize affiliate marketing spend at the end of the month (EOM) and manage pending invoices using Chargebee or financial tools like QuickBooks.
  • Recommend budget adjustments to maximize ROI and meet growth targets.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI)

  • Total Revenue Growth from Affiliate and Paid Media Programs: Achieve consistent and measurable revenue increases driven by affiliate and paid media initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing affiliate marketing programs in SaaS or similar industries, with measurable success.
  • Strong knowledge of the US healthcare industry paired with impeccable communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with affiliates and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of affiliate platforms such as FirstPromoter or ShareASale.
  • Experience in planning and managing paid media campaigns, including negotiating ad placements and analyzing ROI.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMRush) to track and optimize affiliate and paid media performance.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and motivate affiliates and media partners.
  • Detail-oriented with experience monitoring compliance, validating orders, and preventing fraud.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in SEO and content marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and advanced reporting tools like Looker Studio.
  • Background in subscription-based business models or SaaS in the US.
