Position Overview:

 

The Print on Demand (POD) Channel Sales Manager serves as the primary point of accountability within strategic channel segments of the Graphic Communications Division (GCD )including but not limited to, distributors and buying groups.   This position is responsible for achieving budget goals and generating revenue and gross margin through sales of GCD and Device Technology products.  Additionally, the Channel Sales Manager is accountable for partner recruitment, optimizing the performance of current channel partners, and identifying, qualifying, and adding new  partners to increase revenue. This role will engage at an operational level with local market channel locations to achieve sales and profit goals.

Job Description:

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with current channel partners.
  • Identify and recruit appropriate channel partners to efficiently sell Graphic Communications and Device Technology products to the market.
  • Support sales expansion of channel partners by maintaining and enhancing established relationships.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to avoid conflicts between channel and Fujifilm Sales Managers (FSMs) and toprovide the best solutions for customers.
  • Assist dealers with negotiations and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate to develop annual strategic plans, segmented by Graphic Communications and Device Technology products, for each channel partner, and make commitments to support these plans.
  • Meet or exceed assigned targets for profitable sales revenue and strategic objectives.
  • Schedule business reviews against annual business plans with each channel partner, at least bi-annually.
  • Continuously evaluate the performance of current channel partners against market needs, and develop options for new or alternative partners to improve GCD’s market penetration. This includes managing communication with existing partners who are not meeting commitments, up to and including termination of distribution rights.
  • Coordinate the involvement of support, service, and management resources to meet partner performance objectives and expectations.
  • Oversee financial, logistical, and administrative procedures for accounts.
  • Maintain high levels of partner satisfaction.
  • Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
  • Analyze market trends and develop sales plans to increase brand awareness.
  • Monitor sales performance against stated objectives.

Skills/Education:

  • Post secondary diploma or degree in business or marketing, or related field of study.
  • 5+ years experience selling equipment within the Graphics industry.
  • 5+ years sales and territory management.
  • Extensive knowledge of the graphic communication industry, including digital and electronic applications.
  • Ability to interact with and influence various levels of management within the assigned account base.
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent sales, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional teamwork skills (product management, support, sales, service, and management).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions and demonstrate good use of independent judgement.
  • Proficieny with the MS Office Suite.
  • Previous experience working with Salesforce or related system to maintain consistent territory and customer management is a strong asset.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset.
