About the Role

As a C++ Developer, you will work on enhancing and maintaining backend servers developed in C++ for real-time trading applications. You’ll collaborate closely with business counterparts to deliver technical solutions for client needs, tackle complex development challenges, and contribute during all phases of the project lifecycle. This opportunity offers exposure to solving critical production and client issues and delivering innovative solutions in a fast-paced technical environment.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain backend servers in C++ on a Windows platform for real-time trading applications.

Collaborate with business counterparts to translate technical requirements into client-ready solutions.

Support all phases of the project lifecycle—from design to deployment and beyond.

Work with QA and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve development and testing challenges.

Prioritize and address critical production and client-facing issues.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

5+ years of experience in C++ programming.

Proficiency in both structural and object-oriented programming, including expertise in concepts, data structures, design patterns, templates, and multithreaded programming in C++.

In-depth experience working on the Windows platform (Visual Studio experience is a plus).

Good knowledge of databases and basic SQL.

Familiarity with version control systems like GIT.

Extensive problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Strong communication abilities across IT and business divisions.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Plusses

Exposure to finance, especially Fixed Income.

Experience with Perl and shell scripting.

Understanding of communication protocol fundamentals.
