The Role:

You will work in MIDAS = Measurement Information and Data Analytics Solution, that is a VW project which contains data from tests and simulations made to vehicles (before its commercialization).

You will work on a day-to-day basis with our design, frontend, backend, devops and testing team to build a scalable and solid product.

Key Responsibilities:

Writing and maintaining microservices that are deployed in cloud environment (Openshift), providing highly available services that are resilient in the face of failures. We aim to be curious and care about the little details that make the app delightful.

Working using best practices (testing, code reviews, DDD, CI/CD, clean cose...) and Agile methodologies.

Write automated tests.

Requirements:

Academic Background Bsc. in Computer Eng., or informatics, or similar related fields.

Knowledge developing in Python and using frameworks like Flask, SQLAlchemy.

Knowledge in Relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (OpenSearch, Mongo DB).

Knowledge in testing (Unit, Integration, E2E) using Unittest or Pytest.

Knowledge with Docker.

Managing code via git. (Bitbucket)

Knowledge of Kubernetes.

Knowledge in Linux and bash scripting

Knowledge in automation CI/CD (Atlassian Bamboo, Bitbucket)

Desirable knowledge of GitOps (ArgoCD, FluxCD).

Desirable knowledge of observability (Grafana, Kibana, OpenSearch).

Desirable knowledge of networking

Good level of English is required.
