Job description

Due to expansion, our multi-discipline firm is seeking a Design Engineer for our Water Resources Practice. CP Engineers, Architecture & Environmental Services has forty years of experience in site/civil, water/wastewater, municipal, MEP, and environmental services. Our project portfolio includes private, municipal, county, and regional clients; some have been with our firm for three decades.

  • Design water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and distribution/collection systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, for water resources projects.
  • Prepare engineering reports, technical specifications, and contract documents.
  • Perform site inspections and assessments to support design and construction efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in water resources engineering
  • Strong knowledge of NJDEP regulations and permitting processes.
  • Experience with AutoCAD.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.
