Position Summary: 

Join Cycura as a Delivery Engineer, Security and transform how people think about cyber-security! For someone who intimately understands designing and maintaining an organization’s security infrastructure, from SIEM architecture through to network security, possesses expert hands-on experience managing SIEM solutions and Network Security appliances, and loves to be at the center of project, making a difference in the security posture for clients; this opportunity positions you to the ability to get your hands dirty on novel technology in the cybersecurity landscape. You thrive on extracting the most out of current technologies and implementing solutions solving complex technical and business problems.  

What you will be doing:

  • Deploy, configure, and integrate security solutions such as firewalls, SIEMs, endpoint protection, IAM, and vulnerability management tools 
  • Execute end-to-end delivery of security projects, from planning and deployment to validation and handover. 
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure milestones and objectives are met. 
  • Document technical processes, configurations, and changes to maintain project transparency. 
  • Support the implementation of monitoring solutions for threat detection and incident response. 
  • Identify and address security gaps in existing systems, recommending and implementing improvements. 
  • Provide technical expertise during project delivery, including troubleshooting and resolving implementation challenges. 
  • Lead transition-to-operations activities for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Provide expert advice, mentoring, and support to Operations resources on deployed security solutions 

 

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) and 5+ years in cybersecurity 
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Security Engineer 
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in a client facing consulting role 
  • Subject matter expert in cybersecurity, including SIEM, SOAR, Firewalls, VPN, WAFS, IDS/IPS, and DLP solutions 
  • Expert Knowledge in Microsoft Azure Security Platform, including Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Data Explorer, Microsoft Purview, and M365 XDR platform  
  • Knowledgeable in identity and access management and single sign-on 
  • Experienced in DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization deployment and container security 
  • Knowledgeable in ITSM practices 
  • Knowledgeable in Project Management  
  • Subject matter expert in SIEM (architecture, best practices, designing and validating use cases),  
  • Common configuration management across disparate systems 
  • Strong Linux System Administration Skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to communicate business outcomes within subject area of expertise to clients (internal/external)
