Position Summary: 

Join Cycura as a Solutions Architect, Security and transform how people think about cyber-security! For someone who thrives on researching, designing, and deploying bleeding-edge technology system to support the technical enablement of our client’s security practices; this opportunity positions you to provide expert advice, thought-leadership, and make you mark through innovative security solutions. You thrive on extracting the most out of current technologies and know when to pull the plug when solutions no longer meet the evolving needs of business objectives or risk profiles.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead discovery sessions to collaborate with clients to understand their unique security challenges and business goals
  • Provide strategic security recommendations and roadmaps tailored to client requirements
  • Design end-to-end security solutions for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Architect solutions incorporating technologies such as SIEM, XDR, IAM, firewalls, and encryption
  • Design solutions which align to industry standard and best practices (NIST, ISO27001, GDPR, CCPA)
  • Guide internal and external teams through the implementation of recommended security solutions
  • Provide oversight and technical support to ensure seamless deployment and integration
  • Assist clients in achieving compliance with regulatory and industry-specific requirements
  • Support business development through presales activities and by contributing to proposals, RFPs, and solution presentations
  • Produce internally published material such as knowledge briefs, service delivery kit components or modules, standard operating procedures, etc.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) and 5+ years in cybersecurity
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Solutions Architect
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a client facing consulting role
  • Subject matter expert in cybersecurity, including SIEM, SOAR, Firewalls, VPN, WAFS, IDS/IPS, and DLP solutions
  • Expert Knowledge in Microsoft Azure Security Platform, including Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Data Explorer, Microsoft Purview, and M365 XDR platform
  • In depth knowledge of identity and access management and single sign-on
  • Experienced in DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization development, deployment, and container security
  • Experienced in secure coding practices
  • Knowledgeable in ITSM practices
  • Knowledgeable in Project Management
  • Subject matter expert in SIEM (architecture, best practices, designing and validating use cases),
  • Common configuration management across disparate systems
  • Strong Linux System Administration Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate business outcomes within subject area of expertise to clients (internal/external)

 

The salary offered for this position falls within a specified salary range and will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific needs of the organization.
