Overview:

IDG is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager of Sales Enablement who will play a crucial role in driving the readiness and effectiveness of our global sales teams. This pivotal role will be instrumental in supporting the Enablement Center of Excellence, focusing on key areas such as revenue excellence and efficiencies, systems and tools, and streamlining communications.

The Senior Manager of Sales Enablement will lead and implement key initiatives focused on leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of IDG’s global enablement operations, systems, communication, and learning design teams. Reporting to the VP of Global Enablement, you will collaborate with your peer set and senior leaders across IDG to align enablement programs with business goals and drive operational efficiencies that scale across the organization. To be successful in this role, you must possess a positive, engaging, goal-oriented, and data-driven style and must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.

This role can be based 100% remotely for an approved East Coast US location. Travel requirements of 2-3 global work trips per year.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute a strategic roadmap for enablement operations, and revenue management, ensuring alignment with IDG’s global business objectives and GTM initiatives while partnering with commercial leadership to ensure IDG priorities are met. 
  • Support shaping the global strategy for enablement operations, building scalable systems, processes, and tools that enhance efficiency and performance across IDG regional teams.
  • Own IDG’s enablement tools stack (LMS, CMS, CI, analytics tools, etc.), ensuring integration with other systems and optimizing the overall tech stack for efficiency and user adoption.
  • Identify and remove operational bottlenecks through designing and implementing automated workflows to increase efficiency and scalability, therefore ensuring that IDG’s enablement efforts are as impactful as possible.
  • Collaborate with your enablement leadership peer group to ensure that enablement initiatives align with business needs and drive measurable results.
  • Lead change management efforts for the rollout of new tools, systems, and processes to IDG’s global GTM teams while also designing and delivering comprehensive training & adoption programs to ensure successful deployment and engagement.
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of enablement programs, and develop interactive dashboards to track performance; use data-driven insights to refine processes, ensuring continuous program improvement.
  • Lead the creation of interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports to provide stakeholders with actionable insights while ensuring transparency in reporting and aligning reporting structures with business objectives.
  • Oversee the global scalability of enablement programs, ensuring that regional needs are accounted for while maintaining alignment with global standards and strategies in creating high-quality, impactful learning resources.
  • Support the creation of an enablement communications strategy that gives employees what they need, when they need it and establishes the Global Enablement team as the single source to keep the field in the know.
  • Manage the evaluation process for new enablement technologies, from assessment through contract negotiation, implementation, and ongoing monitoring to ensure tools evolve in line with IDG’s business needs.
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA preferred. We will consider qualified candidates with equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of sales enablement experience for enterprise-selling global B2B organizations
  • Highly analytical and proven track record of driving enablement process down through the sales organization and up throughout the sales leadership and executive management
  • Proven experience in scaling global field enablement programs, with expertise in aligning them with business objectives and driving measurable outcomes
  • Deep knowledge of enablement technologies (e.g., CRM, LMS, CMS, knowledge management systems, AI tools, analytics platforms) and experience managing tool stacks across a global organization
  • Experience identifying gaps in sales effectiveness, creating comprehensive recommendations, and implementing strategies to optimize the performance of the sales organization.
  • Ability to create and track metrics which demonstrate constant increases in sales productivity
  • Strong project management and program execution skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines and navigate through complex scenarios to drive adoption and execution.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting to executive leadership, driving alignment across teams and ensuring stakeholder engagement
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, Solution Selling) and experience enabling sales or technical GTM teams
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $165,000 and $180,000 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
