Job description


We are seeking an Associate Real Estate Litigation Attorney with at least two years of civil litigation experience to join the team of a Law Firm in Encinitas! 
The ideal candidate will focus on real estate and business litigation, with some transactional work, and actively participate in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all phases of real estate litigation, from case assessment to trial and appeal.
  • Develop litigation strategies and negotiate favorable dispute resolutions.
  • Conduct legal research and provide counsel on real estate laws and transactions.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to real estate litigation and transactions.
  • Generate business leads and cultivate client relationships to contribute to firm growth.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and effectively.
  • Passion for client service and business development.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $130K – $175K (based on experience).
  • Health insurance and 401K with matching.
  • Bonus and commission opportunities based on performance.
  • Fully remote position with flexible billable hours (1,400–1,680 per year).
  • Clear path to firm equity shareholder status.

Additional Notes:

  • Candidates must reside in Orange County or downtown San Diego.
  • No candidates from LA County or north of LA.
  • Business development efforts must align with the candidate's location.
