What You’ll Do

• Deeply research new cryptoassets and integrate them into our platform.
  
• Implement and support participatory features for clients, such as staking, governance, vesting, and more.
  
• Develop scalable abstractions across all crypto-networks.
  
• Contribute to and review code across the entire stack and engineering organization.
  
• Monitor network-wide issues and support assets through upgrades.
  
• Ship code that will have a global impact on the economy.
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally to influence the architecture and product roadmap.
  

What We’re Looking For

Skills and Experience Required:

• Real-world experience building complex distributed systems. While we mostly use Go, we care more about your engineering skills than your knowledge of any specific language or framework.
  
• Experience building resilient services capable of handling various workloads without manual intervention.
  
• A genuine commitment to code quality, test infrastructure, and end-user experience.
  
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures. Formal CS degree is not required.
  
• A hands-on approach to problem-solving, including diving deep into the stack and open-source projects to troubleshoot and fix bugs.
  
• A creative, humble, ambitious, detail-oriented, and methodical mindset with a focus on getting things done and learning continuously.
  

Bonus Points if:

• You have experience with applied cryptography (crypto = cryptography, not cryptocurrency).
  
• You read blockchain protocol white papers for fun and stay up-to-date on cryptoasset innovations.
  
• You have a background in the finance industry.
