Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical art, VFX creation, or shader programming.
  • Strong expertise in PixiJS and WebGL, with a focus on real-time rendering.
  • Advanced knowledge of GLSL shader programming, including fragment and vertex shaders.
  • Experience creating real-time VFX such as particles, glow, smoke, distortion, and dynamic materials.
  • Strong understanding of GPU performance optimization, texture compression, and batching techniques.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for scripting effects and animations.
  • Knowledge of rendering pipelines, post-processing techniques, and frame buffer optimizations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail.

Main task pool:

  • Hands-on experience with Spine 2D animation, including rigging, keyframing, and animation blending.
  • Develop and implement real-time visual effects (VFX) using PixiJS and WebGL shaders (GLSL).
  • Create and optimize custom shaders for advanced rendering techniques, including particle effects, lighting, distortion, and post-processing.
  • Work closely with artists and developers to integrate high-quality animated effects, textures, and materials into interactive experiences.
  • Optimize VFX for performance and memory usage across desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Work with procedural animation techniques and physics-based effects.

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with Three.js, Babylon.js, or other WebGL-based 3D rendering engines.
  • Familiarity with physics engines like Matter.js or Box2D for physics-based effects.
  • Experience in procedural content generation for interactive experiences.
  • Knowledge of game engines like Unity or Unreal for shader and VFX development.
