Requirements
Remember: Don't be discouraged if you're just starting! We’re open to meeting candidates with different levels of experience.
- One year of experience in a professional environment, after completing an internship if possible.
- Be permanently located in Spain and be able to work legally there. We cannot sponsor work permit visas at the moment.
- Bachelor’s degree or academic certification in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a similar field.
- Hands-on development experience with at least one of the following programming languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby on Rails. We’d also love to know if you’re as big of a fan of functional programming as we are!
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Ownership, strong analytical and communication skills, and a drive to exceed expectations.
- Experience using Agile Methodologies and CI/CD techniques such as TDD.
Day-to-Day Tasks
We offer you a mix of tech projects and engaging activities that will enrich your personal and professional development. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Refine your technical expertise with our ongoing tech training program, which covers many technologies, tools, and processes, such as Haskell, TypeScript, Python, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and more!
- Learn or reinforce your knowledge about the value-add of using functional and type-safe languages, our specialty.
- Sharpen your soft skills through training, book clubs, conferences, direct client interaction, and other fun team-building events!
- Collaborate with dynamic international teams, employing a clean and pragmatic approach to define project roadmaps, select technologies, and seamlessly integrate them.
- Carry out code reviews, pinpointing and applying the best software practices.
- Offer guidance to our clients, implement technical solutions, and introduce new technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Contribute to internal and external community initiatives to boost our brand awareness in Spain.
- Help onboard and mentor new developers if you enjoy supporting others to achieve technical excellence.
