What You'll Be Doing:Preparing rate level indications, class plan analyses, and competitive researchPreparing supporting exhibits for rate/rule filings, including preparing explanatory language and drafting rate/rule interrogatory responsesPreparing reserving analyses including drafting actuarial reportsReviewing data received from clients for reasonabilityCorresponding directly with the client in working through data issues and investigating unusual results in experienceRecommending solutions and/or alternatives to Consulting ActuariesPerforming technical reviews of analyses completed by othersWhat You'll Bring to the Table:2+ years experience working in the Property/Casualty industryPersonal auto experience preferred4+ Actuarial ExamsBS/BA degree from an accredited universityGeneral understanding of standard actuarial terms such as loss ratio, ultimate losses, written premium, earned premium, on-level earned premium, frequency, severity, loss cost, etc.General understanding of standard industry coverage typesExcellent Microsoft Excel, Word and Access/SQL skillsAbility to think creatively/imaginativelyExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities/projects with deadlinesAbility to perform most tasks with minimal supervision Ability to complete tasks with few conceptual/ structural/technical/cosmetic errorsAbout Perr&Knight:
