About the Team

As a member of the Revenue & Margin Management team, you will have the opportunity to play a role in increasing the growth and profitability of Stitch Fix by giving clients a reason to continue to shop with Stitch Fix through promotional activities, while optimizing our margin portfolio.

About the Role

As a Revenue & Margin Management Associate, you will drive innovation and change within our Merchandising organization through improvements in inventory management and margin forecasting. You will build and implement processes and reporting for improving profitability and help launch markdown and promotional events. You will work closely with Merchandising, Finance, Marketing, Data Science and Product teams to drive efficiencies, streamline pricing actions, and support our strategic vision to improve total company profit and client satisfaction. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starting, sharply analytical problem-solver with proven financial acumen and the ability to adapt to the Stitch Fix business model.

  • Create and maintain dynamic reporting to measure the effectiveness of pricing changes / promotional events to enable continuous improvement
  • Be responsible for tactical execution of pricing events 
  • Lead detailed analysis of all promotional / perm markdown activity to optimize future events
  • Improve integrated Margin Planning - forecasting margins and profitability based on product margins, markdown strategies and promotional events
  • Analyze and develop strategies to optimize margin 
  • Engage with Planning, Buying and Private Brands teams to drive improved analysis of net merch margins, cost engineered pricing targets for events
  • Identify pricing and promotion opportunities; perform due diligence and financial analysis to support decisions, and present final recommendations to our Merchandising leadership

  • You have at least 2-4 years of experience in retail planning, pricing, promotions, or merchandising related functions. 
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, economics or related field (preferred) 
  • You have a proven ability to take a structured and data driven approach to solving complex business problems
  • You are an expert in Powerpoint, Excel, and Word; bonus points if you have experience with SQL, Looker, or Tableau / Power BI
  • You are comfortable balancing data-driven decisions while navigating through ambiguity to make well-rounded recommendations
  • You are a self-starter who can work cross-functionally and independently with minimal supervision
  • Cross-functional communication comes naturally to you while solving problems and addressing roadblocks
  • You have extremely strong written and oral communication skills, with proven experience working directly with senior leadership teams
  • Above all else you are bright, kind, and motivated by challenge

Compensation and Benefits

This role will receive a competitive salary and benefits. The salary for US-based employees will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, location, and performance.This position is eligible for an annual cash award depending on employee and company performance. Salary Range
$77,500$114,000 USD
