We’re looking for a Concierge Australia to join our team and embark on this journey with us.

What is the role about? 

  • You will act as the point of contact for Tourlane travelers who need assistance or information while traveling in Australia. 
  • You will proactively get in contact with Tourlane travelers and provide information through call or chat according to customer needs.
  • You will inform our travelers about the newest attractions, local culture and provide valuable tips that make the customer journey more exciting and unforgettable.
  • You will handle the introduction and sale of all additional activities and excursions to further improve our traveler’s local experience.
  • You will act as a local scout during low travel seasonality to explore best places to go, restaurants, coffee shops, activities, anything new, cool and popular for our travelers to experience.
  • You will work along with our local travel partner and Tourlane team in Germany to provide regular updates and feedback, to further enhance the travelers experience in Australia.

 

What will you need to be successful? 

  • You are a local person in Australia, you are self motivated, proactive and able to work independently but also get along with the team.
  • Experience as a butler or concierge is an advantage, or any experience in Customer Service in the hospitality industry.
  • You are good at sourcing information online of the latest and most talked about tourist attractions, sights, shopping places, coffee shops, restaurants, nightlife etc.
  • You have a service oriented mindset and are capable of making every guest feel valued.
  • You process good spoken and written English. Speaking German or French would be a big plus but not mandatory.
